What's not to like about the Rifton Compass Chair, it brings everyone to the table or group with a supportive seat, armrests, lateral thigh support and adjustable leg heights.

Children with vestibular or tactile hyposensitivity may have movement-seeking or sensory-seeking behavior. The Compass Chair is durable to withstand continuous rocking movements. Children with autism spectrum disorder can gain security with gentle boundaries. The raised sides on the seat and armrests can provide comfortable personal space. By shortening the rear legs the chair reclines and helps the client slide back into the chair to help them keep seated. If the front legs are shortened to tilt the client forward for postural control and a more engaged sitting position.

Standard legs feature adjustment holes for perfect height positioning, front and back legs adjust separately

Standard legs for Chair Sizes 2-5 feature 5 height-adjustment holes, and include a cover for the bottom two buttons to protect fingers when legs are fully extended

Short Legs for Size 1 Chairs feature 3 adjustment holes. Standard Legs with 5 adjustment holes can be ordered optionally for Size 1 Chairs, however the lower two positions will be inaccessible

All legs have the standard foot built-in, which includes a universal connector at the foot end so alternate feet can be added or removed at any time

Non-slip texture on the seat and back

Optional Low-Friction Legs use a different material to allow the chair to slide with ease

Optional Dynamic Feet consists of a standard racquetball under each leg to provide subtle movement for children seeking sensory stimulation. The balls do not roll

Optional Pelvic Support is an alternative to a standard seat belt, which secures the individual's hips and upper thighs and promotes correct posture, without pressure to the abdomen

Optional Rocking Chair Base is designed to add controlled, rhythmic rocking to support users who benefit from consistent sensory input. It installs tool-free, maintains the chair’s height adjustability (adding ~2 inches), and is safety-engineered with extended rear rockers; available in five color-coded sizes and compatible with Compass Chair legs manufactured after September 3, 2024.

Orders must be delivered to a physical address. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Assembly:

Assembly is not included and is the purchaser's responsibility unless prior arrangements are made for assembly to be included. Should you need assembly services, please contact us.

Return Eligibility:

If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days for an exchange or refund.

To qualify for a refund, the product must be in new, unused condition and returned in its original packaging with all documentation, parts, and accessories.

Non-Returnable Items: Custom-made, special order, and hygienic products are not eligible for return.For health and safety reasons, and in compliance with federal health codes, used or hygienic products cannot be returned. Hygienic items include but are not limited to toileting products, shower chairs, mattresses and overlays, slings, bathroom aids, body braces, seat cushions, wheelchair cushions, stockings, splints, or any products that come into direct contact with the body.

How to Return:

All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RMA). Please contact us within 30 days of delivery to obtain your RMA and return instructions.

Note: To keep our prices as low as possible, a 15% return service fee will apply to all returned items. Refunds are calculated by the purchase price of an item; any applied discounts or promotional offers will be deducted from the refund.

Shipping fees, including expedited shipping, freight, or delivery services, are non-refundable unless the product is damaged or defective. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser unless the return is due to damage. Products returned after 30 days, in used condition, or without an RMA cannot be refunded and may be returned to the sender at the purchaser’s expense.

Damaged or Defective Items: Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery. If possible, do not accept delivery of visually damaged products. If your order is found to be damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
