Our best-selling helmet – for good reason! Danmar’s Soft Shell Helmet is a lightweight and fully ventilated helmet that provides head protection for children and adults. The shock absorbing foam is comfortable and does not have any hardware showing, so there is no danger of the face connecting with anything hard or sharp. The vinyl coating is easy to clean with soap and water.

Fun patterns and custom colors are available. Patterns are applied to the helmet during production and sealed with a clear coat. Helmets with custom patterns or custom colors can not be returned. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for custom selections.

• Potential striking surfaces (floor, walls, furniture, etc.)
• Nature of self-abusiveness
• Severity & frequency of seizures or spasticity
• Length of time worn

Note: While we believe that headgear can substantially reduce the risk of head injury we emphasize that there is no known device for preventing all injuries. Only you the customer are in a position to evaluate the particularized needs of the individual client in each environment. It is essential that professional and medical expertise be utilized in rendering decisions regarding headgear use.

Customizations & Modifications - must be added when helmet is purchased.

• Soft Foam Ear Coverings - Soft ventilated foam extends down over ear area (pair)
• Reinforced Liner - reinforced vinyl material is bonded to the full helmet liner for extra durability
• Reinforced Seams - reinforced vinyl is bonded into the foam liner for extra strength
• Eye Glass Relief Area - Most eyeglass wearers are comfortable without modifying the helmet however if frames are an issue, padded polypropylene slings are created to provide extra room for the glasses.
• Quick Release Buckle Chinstrap, Under Chin - use in place of the standard snap chin strap.
• Quick Release Buckle Chinstrap, Top of Helmet -use when there are efforts to remove the helmet. The quick release buckle will be on the top of the helmet
• Custom Strapping - in situations where the helmet is being removed, straps are attached to each side of the helmet and cross under the chin and attach at the back of the helmet.
• Foam Visor - 2 inch thick visor extends from the helmet approximately 3 inches to absorb impact from bumps to the front of the head.
• Pony tail cut out for ease of use and comfort!
• Rear Foam Extension helps protect the nape of the neck from impact. You can also opt to change the Rear Foam Extension for a Cheek (temple) protection. Please indication the extension size in inches at the time of order.

Our standard delivery window is 5-7 business days.

Custom-made or special-order products will require additional time for fabrication. We will contact you by phone and email to provide a specific estimated shipping date for your order.

Please note: Unforeseen delays can occur, such as weather events or manufacturer backorders. Should an unexpected delay impact your order, we will contact you by phone and email. An email with tracking information will be sent as soon as the tracking information is available.

Assembly:

Assembly is not included and is the purchaser's responsibility unless prior arrangements are made for assembly to be included. Should you need assembly services, please contact us.

Return Policy: Your Satisfaction is Our Priority

Return Eligibility:

If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days for an exchange or refund.

To qualify for a refund, the product must be in new, unused condition and returned in its original packaging with all documentation, parts, and accessories.

Non-Returnable Items: Custom-made, special order, and hygienic products are not eligible for return.For health and safety reasons, and in compliance with federal health codes, used or hygienic products cannot be returned. Hygienic items include but are not limited to toileting products, shower chairs, mattresses and overlays, slings, bathroom aids, body braces, seat cushions, wheelchair cushions, stockings, splints, or any products that come into direct contact with the body.

How to Return:

All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RMA). Please contact us within 30 days of delivery to obtain your RMA and return instructions.

Note: To keep our prices as low as possible, a 15% return service fee will apply to all returned items. Refunds are calculated by the purchase price of an item; any applied discounts or promotional offers will be deducted from the refund.

Shipping fees, including expedited shipping, freight, or delivery services, are non-refundable unless the product is damaged or defective. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser unless the return is due to damage. Products returned after 30 days, in used condition, or without an RMA cannot be refunded and may be returned to the sender at the purchaser’s expense.

Damaged or Defective Items: Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery. If possible, do not accept delivery of visually damaged products. If your order is found to be damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
