• Full-length wood safety rails are both hinged and removable for quick and easy accessibility and extends to 41 1/2 to 50 1/4 inches above the mattress depending on foundation.
• Choose from a fixed, electric and/or manual high-low or articulating foundation.
• Dual rails- movable rails on both sides provides access from both sides of the bed
• Includes locking casters for easy mobility and to prevent movement
• Choose either clear non-breakable windows for added visibility, vented mesh screen windows or solid sides.
• Articulating foundation adjusts head and knee placement

Definitions of Foundation Options

Fixed or Basic - The foundation of the bed is fixed and does not move. There are the options of a bunkie board (which is a flat surface under the mattress) or a Box Spring

Manual Articulation - The head and knee areas can each move manually with the use of a crank.

Manual hi-lo- The height of the bed foundation moves up and down (hi-lo) manually using a crank. The change in the height of the bed assists with transfers and caregiving.

Manual Hi-lo Combo- The head, knee and foundation of the bed move up and down manually using a crank. This option provides full functionality at the best price.

Manual Electric Combo - The height of the foundation raises up and down (hi-lo) manually with a crank while the head and knee sections move up and down electronically using a hand held remote.

Electric Articulation- The head and knee sections each move up and down electronically using a hand held remote and the foundation remains in a fixed position.

Electric Hi-Lo Combo - Fully electric bed with head, knee and foundation movement up and down by using a hand held remote. The movement of the bed makes it comfortable in sitting up positions and the hi-lo movement of the foundation makes care and transfers easier.

Mattress

• SleepSafe® Beds use CertiPUR-US ® compliant foam products featuring gel technology.
• Memory foam infused with Gel Polymers to optimize pressure redistribution, rapid heat dissipation, and increases in breathability
• The foam channels heat away from the body
• Pressure redistribution providing more support and less cradling, distributing pressure over a larger surface area and eliminating static fatigue.
• Important Note:Safety rails are designed to reduce the possibility of roll-out, however, proper client supervision and monitoring is required.

Warranty

• Any modification to the product or its components will void the warranty and render the product incapable of fulfilling its intended purpose.
• Full One-Year SleepSafe® Bed Warranty: The SleepSafe® Bed is warranted against defects in workmanship or materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Sleep Safe Beds, LLC will repair or replace any defective part at no cost to the purchaser.
• Limited Five Year SleepSafe® Bed Warranty. During the second through fifth years from the date of purchase, SleepSafe Beds, LLC will replace any part found to be defective. Purchaser shall pay all service and shipping costs related to the replacement of the defective part.
• Terms and Conditions for SleepSafe® Bed Warranty. This warranty applies to normal use and does not cover any damage caused by excessive wear, abuse, misuse, mishandling or modification of the product.

Maintenance

• Periodic checks of the tightness of all fasteners are recommended for product stability and safety. Clean with water and mild detergent using a soft cloth. Avoid abrasives and solvents.
