California Consumer Privacy Act - Effective Jan. 1, 2020
The following terms supplement the Adaptive Specialties Privacy Policy LINK to Privacy Policy
and explain the rights of California residents. For information about what categories of personal information we may collect from our clients, the sources of that information, the purposes for collecting and using collected information, and what types of third party service providers we may we may share collected information with. See below.
Personal information Collected from 12 months prior to the effective date and go forward include:
Identifiers: Client name, postal address, phone number, e-mail address. IP address;
Personal information: age, date of birth, gender, family members, geo locations;
Commercial information: order and payment information
Internet or other electronic network activity and content interaction such as downloads, streams;
Audio and visual information, like photos, videos and voice messages;
Inference data, such as information about your purchase preferences;
Sources include:
self-provided information, guardian provided information, indirectly collected information from client’s browser or device, inferred from information provided by client, or clients browers or device and/or legal guardian or caregiver.
Personal Information disclosed for business purposes as:
Processing of orders, providing customer service, fulfillment of orders, processing payments for orders, advertising and marketing products to clients, detecting fraud and security incidents and illegal acts, providing personalized product/service recommendations, analytics to increase client satisfaction of service and products, maintaining and servicing your account;
Providing information to third party processors, including payment and chargeback processing, shipping carriers, manufacturers, fulfillment vendors,
appointment scheduling, surveys, sweepstakes and contests, product development and custom design, marketing and advertising service providers,
fraud prevention and website security, customer service providers, website performance and analytics vendors;
California residents have the following rights:
The right to request information about personal information including information collected, source of information, that we have collected
about the customer in the 12 months preceding the client’s request.
The right to receive requested information in a readily-usable format if provided electronically;
The right to request that we delete any personal information about the client that we have collected (we may be entitled to retain some information for certain purposes>
The right to opt-out of “sales” of personal information to third parties, if applicable; and
The right to freely exercise your rights without being denied goods or services or price increases.
