Available in bariatric and full hospital sizes with 80 and 84 length, the Span-America PressureGuard APM Bariatric Mattress uses a 2 Geo-Matt foam overlay and six urethan cylinders that are programmed to inflate and deflate in 10 minute cycles to create alternating pressure therapy. Along with a control box that helps to control cycle times and low pressure alarms, this mattress has great features that support users up to 750 lbs and help to prevent and treat pressure ulcers from stage 1 to stage 4.

  • Combines Geo-Matt foam topper and 6 urethane air cylinders to alternate firm foam support and alternating pressure therapy
  • Cylinders inflate and deflate in fixed 10 minute cycles and are designed to provide and maintain low pressures throughout mattress during the alternating cycle
  • Geo-Matt foam topper is 2 and has over 800 cells to redistribute pressure, reduce heat and moisture buildup and reduce skin shear
